As for the embedded system, the license doesn't stop you creating anything, it only stops you distributing it (unless I've read something wrongly)
The knoppix cloop-km stuff sounds very interesting - so the idea is that you put a compressed .iso on the memory card and it's mounted in place? Sounds very cool. I think you'll still need a ramdisk for temporary files though, but as you say it will greatly reduce the memory used. With only 32 MB to play with in the first place, this is vital!
As far as I could tell, your English reads as good as any native, I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned anything :) |
