SUBJECT: RE: 2.4/2.5 kernel?

ps2fdisk is the only utility that we know of that will mess with partition sizes on the PS2.

What we are about to suggest could very well destroy your PS2 Linux installation, make the earth stop revolving and plunge the moon into the oceans, so use at your own risk.

You could try ext2resize... OR

You could use ps2fdisk to:

1. Delete the last partition on the disk, ie: (/dev/hda3)

2. Recreate the last partition, only with a much smaller size (if it was 20GB before, recreate it with a size of 10GB)

3. Create a new partition that is 4GB in size (for BlackRhino Linux)

4. Write the partition table to disk and see if it works... we've never tried doing this, but it may work for you. Then again, it could destroy all life as we know it... if you're going to wipe your installation anyway, you might as well give it a shot.

Let us know if it works for you :)
