PS2 is not an 8 or 16 bit system, so you can't really write 16 bit or 8 bit games.

You can write simple games though.

And just for the future, your time with your girlfriend and classes isn't necessarily more valuable than my time with my girlfriend and classes (or anyone else's on this site).
