Hey,

I think you may want to consider an introductory programming book. There are a lot of programming principles that are fairly simple, but unless you know them and have tried them out, you'll have a hard time getting anything done.

An introductory book would be a good place to start. Having a dictionary that tells you "recursion means this," won't help you if you don't understand the underlying principles and why to use various programming techniques.

Two more things -- this isn't related to networking (but for some reason you're posting on the networking forum), and this isn't strictly related to PS2 Linux. You may want to check out other sites too that help people learning how to program. There's not that much information on this site about beginner programming...

Not to discourage you, but PS2 programming can be challenging even for seasoned programmers.
