Well, to be excruciatingly detailed, I placed my order on the 23rd of September, confirmed by phone on the 26th, got the email that it shipped on the 28th, and received on the 1st of October. Hopefully things will be equivalently speedy for Canadians.

Now if Only I could find a way to order the Head Mounted Display that's been announced for Japan...
