Summary:Welcome!!!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the ccpppns! Firstly a BIG thanks to the site admins for approving the project!

If you've browsed through the documentation in /usr/doc/Playstation2 then you have probably thought to yourself "how can I do that?" This project will attempt to uncover the mysteries of the C and C++ languages, in a user-friendly manner.

I'd firstly like to offer these links. They helped me get started with C/C++, and should prove useful to any beginner:

About.com's C tutorial
About.com's C++ tutorial

To get started you'll need a C/C++ compiler (such as Microsoft Visual Studio if you are learning on windows, or the GNU C Compiler applications which are included in any decent Linux/unix distribution, including RedHat, Slackware, Debian, Mandrake, FreeBSD, and more importantly, PS2 Linux :), and alot of patience. Learning a new spoken language is very difficult, and learning a new programming language is no different, you will be introduced to terms and methods that will at first seem completely weird, but after a few solid hours of working in a language, it all begins to click (trust me it does!).
