Summary:Quick Update: Firefox 1.5, Firefox 1.0.8, Thunderbird 1.0.8
Hi everyone,
Okay - I've posted builds of Firefox 1.0.8 and Thunderbird 1.0.8.
Those of you who follow such things, if you're wondering why you got two notices about Thunderbird 1.0.8, there's a good reason. The first build, although created from 1.0.8 sources, identified itself as 1.0.7. I deleted the build, re-compiled from scratch and reposted. The build now on-site identifies itself correctly as 1.0.8.
I've also posted a new build of Firefox 1.5. This build uses gtk1 and has freetype disabled. It took a while to figure out how to build it without gtk2, atk, pango, xft, et al, but I finally got it. I find it runs quite a bit faster on my PS2, so from here on out, all further builds will be using gtk1 unless otherwise requested.
Mozilla 1.7.13 and Firefox 1.5.0.2 are coming soon!
