SUBJECT: VESA monitor concern

A question not actually answered inthe FAQ, is whether you can play games using the monitor. Will you need to hook your PS2 up to a TV and your vesa monitor. And if it is possible to run dvd's/games using the VESA moniter, how will you get sound? I would love to seperate my ps2 from the TV, any help is appreciated.
