Summary:Closing down playstation2-linux.com

After 7 years of service, the time has come when we must plan for closing down this site. We appreciate there are some valuable downloads and postings here, and we're looking at continuing to provide an archive of those for you once the site is gone - please let us know what you'd vote for putting in there.

SPS2? VCL? Let us know! We have a few months left to go, but by the end of October 2009 we will be looking at closing down the site as it stands now.

Thanks to all the enthusiastic members of the PS2Linux community!

Sarah.

SUBJECT: Thanks... and also.... ps2dev.org

Hi all,

Thanks to everybody at SCE and the community who contributed to the great and unique experience of legally developing on a leading platform at home. I know that it got at least a few people into the industry, and provided lots of entertainment to others.

It's sad that this site will close down, but at the risk of sounding like advertising.....

Hopefully anybody still interested in ps2 development can drop by and say hi at the ps2dev.org forums at http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewforum.php?f=11 . If there are a significant number of people working on ps2 linux we can make a new board, otherwise I'm sure as long as the questions are development related people won't mind posting on the current board :)

Cheers

--James
