Summary:US: Linux (for Playstation 2) Kit temporarily unavailable

The Linux kit will be unavailable for order in North America while the e-commerce function of playstation.com is reorganized. It will be at least a couple of weeks, but kits will be available again through scea.com when the reorganization is complete. Thanks for your patience everyone.

Other territories are unaffected: ordering from Europe, New Zealand & Australia continues as before.

SUBJECT: Linux kit hardware and Sony online offering

Sony will be releasing their Network Adapter next week on August 27th (and hopefully the http://us.playstation.com site will be live by then!)

For those of us who have the Linux kit, will we be able to access the online gaming with our existing hardware, or would we have to purchase a second Network Adapter?
