Summary:Linux kit released in Europe & New Zealand (Australia on 27th)

We're now taking orders for the Linux kit in Europe at the following website:

Those of you in New Zealand can place an order at:

http://nz.playstation.com/

For those of you in Australia, the kits have been shipped out to Sony there, and my Australian colleagues tell me that you can call to put your name down for ordering - orders will be processed on 27th. Check out http://au.playstation.com for details.

SUBJECT: Why is everybody moaning?
Look, If you dont like the price, just dont buy it, its simple if you think about it!
Sony dont even have to let us have ps2linux, at all! and besides, nobodys forcing you to buy it.
And um, considering what we actually get, its a DAMN GOOD PRICE!
We get (Basicly) what main-stream developers pay £10,000 for.... it may be linux which is free.. but the documents certanly arn't free, neither is the hardware.

Just think about this before you moan
