SUBJECT: NTSC video mode

I have a couple of apps that run nicely in VESA and I would dearly like them to run them under PAL or NTSC. I do the old switcheroo before running my apps (ie unplug the video plug with VESA connector and plug in the normal PS2 to video plug) but nothing. When I revert back to VESA there is an SPS2 message saying VESA was autodetected. The doco for sps2UScreenInit says SPS2 will default to VESA when it has problems detecting the video mode. That sounds like the case here, but I haven't a clue how to rectify the problem.

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers
