Summary:15 March 2004: Linux for PlayStation 2 pricing

On the 15th March 2004, Linux for PlayStation 2 was reduced in price.

Consequently the kit has sold out in North America, and been discontinued in that territory.

Sales continue in Europe, South Africa, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, and other PAL territories.

Complete information is available in the FAQ under "Availability".

For Europe, Africa and the Middle East, the new price is €149 + tax. If you have any connection with a school or university, let us know about it to obtain the discounted price of €99 + tax.

(Please be reassured that playstation2-linux.com continues to fill with material, and will be maintained and hosted for as long as is possible, long after stock is sold out).

SUBJECT: fantastic news

Well Ive always been a beliver of good things come to those who wait, and I sure have waited a while for this.

Im just hoping that the Australian kits will be as heavily reduced as the US ones are.

To those of you ticked off that you payed full price not long ago its a shame but these things happen.
