I know that even now its somewhat hard to install linux, but how about starting on Live USB? Any ways to do this? |

Ive heard people say u cant but there is live cd linux and netbsd for dreamcast, so i dont see why not. Im sry i wouldnt know how to though |

shouldn't be too hard.
damn small linux is 2.4 kernel based and can run off usb. so ps2 linux also should.
i've been using 2.6 for too long, so i don't really remember how to find out where your usb is mapped on 2.4 kernel with devfs. |

You're right, shouldn't be hard at all. If a PC can do it, a PS2 should be able to do it no prob. It's too bad about the whole 2.4/2.6 thing, if they hadn't changed the entire kernel between the two, you would probably have it all coded and ported by now. Shucks. |

yea, my Sega Dreamcast can run kive linux and netbsd and it has 200mhz processor and 16mb ram i believe vs PS2 300mhz main processor and 32MB ram |
