SUBJECT: Kaffe 1.1.7

Has anyone managed to install Kaffe-1.1.7 on their PS2.

So far this is what I've managed to do:
- Glib 2.4.0
- Atk 1.6.0
- Freetype 2.1.4
- Expat 1.95.8
- Fontconfig 2.2.1
- Render 0.8
- XRender 0.8.3
- Xft 2.1.2
- Pango 1.4.0
- Gtk+ 2.4.0

Now when I try to install Kaffe, the configure works. And the make seems to work. There is never an error. But it hangs for a day on a lexical warning which outputs the following:

Issued 1 lexical warning in "../gnu/java/rmi/registry/RegistryImpl_Stub.java":

61. private static java.lang.reflect.Method $method_bind_0;
^------------^
*** Lexical Warning: The use of "$" in an identifier, while legal, is strongly discouraged, since it can conflict with compiler-generated names. If you are trying to access a nested type, use "." instead of "$".

And it freezes there for about 2 days.

I have a playstation 2 and a Core2Duo and I'm trying to replicate the environment I have on my core2duo on the playstation2 and I need to install kaffe-1.1.7 to continue replicating the environment.

I would really appreciate any input on this issue

Regards

Keerthi
