SUBJECT: 7 years of Linux on Playstation-foo hardware.

I hadn't forgot the kit anniversary in NTSC land. Can't get rid of me, even though poor old midgar's hard drive refuses to boot. I still appreciate what SCEfoo did in releasing the kit and my disc case holds an honored place on my shelf. I run YDL 6.1 on my CECHE01 PS3 now, and what I learned about Linux via the PS2 has served me in good stead mostly on the PS3. At it's core, YDL is Red Hat, just like Linux (for Playstation 2) is.

So thanks to any of the SCE folks still around and to those who left the company too.

And thanks to the community too for contributing answers and questions to these forums.
