SUBJECT: Petition for Sony to develop a kernel module

If this is not the case I am sorry for the confusion. From what I can gather the ieee1394 interface is not supported because Sony did not feel the need to develop a working kernel module for it. Considering I have spent two-hundred dollars on a Linux kit I would like to know what the excuse is. If you are reading this and you to are pissed off about i-link/firewire not being supported. Please post a response to this thread. If it gets big enough maybe someone important will take notice. Again if there are plans to write a module, or if I am mistaken and it is supported already I apologize.
