SUBJECT: RE: Destination Host Unreachable

Well, if the following is true -
a) PC communicate fine with ROUTER
b) Router Communicate fine to the INTERNET
c) PC connect fine to the INTERNET via the ROUTER
d) PS2 can ping the loopback address ( 127.0.0.1 )

but the PS2 can not ping the ROUTER address of ( 192.168.10.1 ) then there may only be one problem.

It could be your network cable that's faulty.

Unplug the network cable from the PC and try the cable with the PS2 and connect the 'FAULTY' network cable to the PC. (basicly swop the cables over )
If the PS2 still cannot connect then there must be a setting on the router such as limiting the number of IP ADDRESS hand outs to devices on the network.

Good luck and let us know if it worked.
