BY: jterry DATE: 2004-May-28 16:40 SUBJECT: How do i use my TV as a display? I have completed the linux installation, i hold Select + R1 to boot, which eventually takes me to the linux command line. From there, i login and type "startx" and my tv screen suddenly has no signal. what i THINK is happening, is that it is set to VESA, and i want to use NTSC. I want to use my TV screen as my permanent display. I am a noob and i could use a walkthrough on how to edit that one etc/x11/XGSConfig file. ( i have never edited a file via linux command line before ) Any help would be GREATLY Appreciated!
