HOWTO shift the display on TV

This document describes how to shift the display of the console on a TV, as the default setting displays the text too far on the left and the first 2 characters of each line are hidden.

- Login as root.
- Type "cd /etc".
- Type "cp crtmode.default crtmode.saved".
- Edit the file "crtmode.default".
- It should look something like "PAL nointerlace 32bpp 640 224".
- Change the "640" to "615".
- Save and quit.
- Type "setcrtmode -f crtmode.default".
- If it does not work, type "setcrtmode -f crtmode.saved" and contact me.
