- type "root" and press the return key.
- type the root password and the return key. Do not make mistakes.
- type "netconfig" and enter.
- It asks if you would like to set up networking. Press "enter".
- Press tab then type "192.168.0.9" (or whatever IP you want) and enter.
- Press delete 15 times (or more).
- Type "255.255.255.0" and enter.
- Press delete 15 times (or more).
- Type "192.168.0.1" (or the gateaway address if you know it) and enter.
- Press delete 15 times (or more).
- Press enter twice.
